Many providers of the OUXI GT2000 state that the bike is limited to 25 km/h. This implies that your fatbike is illegal and you are not allowed to ride it on public roads.

How does this work in practice?

In the Netherlands, an electric bicycle is allowed on public roads if:

• It provides a maximum of 25 km/h assistance.

• A throttle may only function up to 6 km/h (walk assist).

With some GT2000 models on the fatbike market, the throttle remains active above this limit if the settings are not configured correctly.
